Went to an absolutely phenomenal Italian place in Silver Spring today. It was sort of a farewell party since spring break is coming to an end and I’m hopping on a train to New Haven tomorrow.

Anyways, if you are ever in the DC-metro area and are craving a really authentic Pizza Napoletana experience, Pacci’s is your place. It’s a narrow yet beautiful place where you can watch the cooks as they hand toss pizza and mutter to each other in Italian. If the delicious appetizers (cantaloupe and proscuitto, yum!) and wood-fired pizza weren’t enough, you can top off your meal with a very satisfying cappuccino with a touch of Nutella. If you’re friendly you may even get one with a smiley face. There are few better ways I can think of to end spring break.
